Key takeaways
- 1Only Team and Enterprise include Claude Motion (beta).
- 2Free, Pro and Max don’t — Max adds capacity, not Motion.
- 3Team: on by default. Enterprise: an Owner turns it on.
- 4Animations draw from your plan’s usage limits.
Who has it

Free · Pro · Max
The reason is practical: Claude Motion sits inside the same workspace tools as other team features, and Anthropic has started its beta with organisations rather than individual subscribers. If you are on an individual plan today, the route to Claude Motion is a Team workspace.

Estimate your team’s cost
A quick way to budget is to count only the people who will actually brief animations, not everyone who will watch them. Viewers do not need a seat to watch an exported MP4.

How usage works
Claude Motion counts toward your plan’s usage limits, like any other Claude work. Longer or more complex animations use more than a typical message. Anthropic has not published a fixed number of animations per plan.

Is it worth it?
Claude Motion is worth paying for when your team regularly turns numbers or product changes into short videos and currently waits on a designer or skips video altogether. It is less useful if you need realistic footage, or if you only make one animation a quarter.
